STEP 5 Providing Feedback

One of the key aspects of providing assessment result feedback is clarity. The feedback should be clear, concise, and easy to understand so that the candidate can easily grasp what you want to explain to the candidate.  Ambiguous or vague feedback can be confusing and unhelpful, that can lead to your candidate's frustration.

It is important for you as an assessor to clearly outline the areas where the candidate excelled and the areas that needs improvement, providing specific examples and basing on what you have observed and recorded in the rating sheets during the conduct of the assessment.
